The Party's Over

Watching the NBA Finals feels like riding the Millennium Force roller coaster at Cedar Point.  The game one thrills watching Oklahoma City climb to a double-digit half time lead only to witness Indiana snatch the victory at the games ‘Thunderous’ gut-wrenching end.

Fortunately, we were confidently guided by the Game Two Zig Zag [ 7-2 Playoff Win-loss Blog ] theory allowing us a chance to even the score.  The back-n-forth duel carried forward through the first four games of the series and we have navigated our way to a Game 6 elimination scenario.

The Pacers are on the brink of elimination heading home to fend off OKC for a chance to steal another game on the road in Game 7.  We highlighted in the Home Sweet Home treatise the Western Conference is 16-9 last 25 NBA Championships.

If the homecoming party feels stagnant and lacking that can-do energy it is because that gut feeling is statistically viable.   You see in Game 4-5 thru 4-7 teams fearing the reaper tend to elicit his presence onto the scene.

We note in The NBA Finals ( Final Round ) Game 4-5 thru 4-7 since 1991 teams that have won less than 63 games the previous season are

2-18 $ATS off Su loss of 3
or more points & any $ATS loss

OKC showered us with a Thunderous Win in Game 5 as the situation above qualified and carrys the mojo into a Game 6 showdown in Indianapolis.  Should be a thrilling game and could be the spoils for the hosts.

We continue the bad news for the home team noting any NBA finals team coming off an Away Dog $ATS loss are 1-6 $ATS in home games including 0-3 $ATS as barking home doggies.  Look for OKC to muzzle the spirited hosts in a slow-Paced affair.

Should Indiana stun the world and shocks the Thunder … we say if the Game 7 line is lower than -9.5 then play the visitors in a tightly contested showdown.  If the line is -9.5 or higher expect fireworks from an OKC Thunderous blowout win.

This concludes our NBA season and we hope you have enjoyed the profitable tour on our quest to make the journey prosperous and entertaning.  Be sure to continue the winning fun with the MLB 2-Minute reports https://sportsdata.com/mlb2mins
